Todd’s unique take of the idea of a Mother’s Ring incorporates both motherhood and children to form a deeply personal and special gift she will treasure. This new addition to Todd’s Collection has created a classification all its own. The process of creating a swirl ring, by its very nature, ensures each ring comes out completely differently than the last.
After completing the swirl ring’s braiding, Todd then adds the chosen birthstone of each of the Mother’s children or grandchildren. Thus the incredible individuality is represented as no two rings will ever be alike. Old gold and heirloom diamonds and gemstones can be incorporated into any of our designs. As the largest of Todd’s twist weave style, this elegant seven strand ring holds much symbolism. Similar to the six strand open weave but with a center strand woven down the middle. This is an excellent braid for a rope center as it really accentuates the look of the ring. It works quite beautifully as a tri-tone ring, especially when paired with a rope middle. Though the seven strand looks just as good with two-tones or just as a single color.
Standard: The 6.5mm 718V is an excellent choice for the couple who appreciates the look of mid-sized matching bands. A good choice if both people in the couple want their rings made from the same braid. Best in ring sizes 5-11.
Heavy: The 7.5mm 616V is the heavier (men’s) version of this braid style. It looks great on large hands. This is a substantial ring made to last a lifetime.
