Six Strand Closed Weave Below
Picking The Best Width for you
The first step in choosing the perfect ring is picking the best width for your finger. Each width is made with different gauge strands, which changes the size of the ring. If you prefer a smaller and daintier ring, select a smaller with your width. If you tend to be more active with your hands and feel you are tougher on your rings, select the larger widths.
Six Strand Closed Weave - No Outer Bands
This makes a wonderful mid-sized ring. Woven much like the four strand braid but with three strands on each side, the middle strands can be woven in rope to give an awesome textured look to your braid. It’s perfect if you want your rings made from the same braid, and works well in any color combination – one tone, two tone to three tone.
This braid is available in three widths: Slim (5mm), Standard (6mm) and Heavy (7.5mm).
The Dainty Six Strand – 620C – is woven from 20 gauge metal strands strands for a total width of 5 millimeters. It is the thinnest and lightest of this type of braid and is best for ring sizes 7 and under. This gauge is not ideal for heavy use.
The Standard Five Strand – 618C – is woven from 18 gauge metal strands strands for a total width of 6 millimeters. It is the perfect choice for those who love strong rings and we recommend this width to most couples, especially if they want their rings made from the same braid.
The Heavy Five Strand – 616T – is woven from 16 gauge metal strands for a total width of 7.5 millimeters. It is the largest and strongest of this type of braid and is best for those who are hard on their rings day to day or have a ring size larger than 8.
