Symbolism:
This unique braided ring we designed specifically for the Christian community. After receiving many calls from kind people looking for wedding rings braided from three strands, a cord of three as reflected in the Bible.

For many this braid design represents two people on their journey together entwined by love. We think this symbolism is very beautiful and often the final product comes out stunning. People have expressed their own unique symbolism in this braid design by picking different colored golds to represent themselves (couple strands) and God/Love (God strand). Another option some people choose is using our "rope strand" for the God/Love strand.

The symbolism in these rings comes from the Bible in Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." (see more below). Todd can also weave both the brides and grooms ring in one long braid, then make each ring from that braid to add even more symbolism to your wedding bands (see Same Braid page). To add to the uniqueness of your wedding bands he can also make these rings in any combination of 14k yellow, white, and rose golds. As you can see in these photos, one strand the "God strand" wraps around two strands "the couple" holding them together.

"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken." Ecclesiastes 4:9-12.

This is the smallest of Todd’s closed weave ring styles. Woven from four individual strands of metal, it is ideal for a single tone or as a two tone ring. It is braided tightly together so that all strands touch but because of its woven nature it is still very breathable and comfortable for everyday wear.

Standard: The 4.0mm 418C offers a refined, slender profile, perfect for sizes 4-11.

Heavy: The 5.5mm 417C delivers bold elegance, ideal for sizes 10-16.

Making Rings From The Same Braid

If the same braid width is chosen for both rings, Todd can weave one long braid and create both wedding rings out of this single braid. For some, this represents two separate individuals who choose to weave their lives together and have even incorporated this symbolism in to their vows during their ceremony.
