About The Braid & Its Symbolism:
Our Cord of Three™ braided ring design was created by Todd after several couples reached out looking for a wedding ring based on the biblical verse Ecclesiastes 4:12 “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
This design features two strands woven together (the couple’s strand) and a third strand (the god strand) that is twisted around the middle set. For many this braid design represents two people on their journey together entwined by love. We think this symbolism is very beautiful and the final product comes out stunning. People have expressed their own unique symbolism in this braid design by picking different colored golds to represent themselves (couple strands) and God/Love (God strand). Another option some people choose is using our "rope strand" for the God/Love strand. The base braid is available in sixty different metal color combinations. The diamond outer bands are available in five different colors and three different styles - and we offer the stones as both natural diamonds and in lab-grown diamonds. So the customization and symbolism for the cord of three is nearly endless!
We offer the Cord of Three™ in one size: our 317. The braid is approximately 3.5mm in thickness - for reference a standard Apple charging cord is about 3mm. Todd can also weave both the brides and grooms ring in one long braid, then make each ring from that braid to add even more symbolism to your wedding bands. About The Diamond Outer Bands:
Standard Diamond Outer Bands: adds 4mm to the ring - Each band has 27 1.1mm diamonds and a carat weight of 1/8ct which gives your rings a total of 1/4ct.
1/3 Carat Diamond Outer Bands: adds 5.58mm to the ring - Each band has 17 1.7mm diamonds and a carat weight of 1/3ct which gives your rings a total of 2/3ct.
1/2 Carat Diamond Outer Bands: adds 6.18mm to the ring - Each band has 16 2mm diamonds and a carat weight of 1/2ct which gives your rings a total of 1ct.
Natural Diamonds:
ALL our diamonds are genuine and conflict free. In the bands we put SI1 G-H color diamonds. We only use the highest quality diamonds we can find.
Lab-Grown Diamonds:
Lab-Grown Diamonds are actual diamonds not simulants. They are genuine diamonds that scientists create in a lab instead of being mined in the earth. They start with rough crystals and are grown using either HPHT (High Pressure High Temperature) or CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) — sometimes both methods.
One of the beautiful things about lab-grown diamonds is that they are conflict free and all of them are VS quality or above and F+ color!

This unique braid features six strands woven together in a branching, flowing design and has a beautiful balance between closed and open space. The open-basket weave style of this ring is both elegant and sophisticated.
This is one of Todd Alan’s most popular styles – and also one of his personal favorites.

618V ~5.5mm – It is the perfect choice for those who love subtle, dainty rings and is a great choice for those who want a smaller ring.
617V ~6mm – We recommend this width to most couples, as it looks beautiful on most people, regardless of ring size. OB620V ~4.5mm – This makes a wonderful women’s ring. It is the perfect choice for those who love subtle, dainty rings and is a great choice for those who want a smaller ring.

OB617V ~6mm – This is an awesome men’s ring and will be strong and sturdy, it is a wonderful choice if you work with your hands or just want a larger ring.
Add a diamond, sapphire, moissanite or any gemstone to your six strand open weave.
Round Outer Bands: In this set each band is rounded and is approximately 1mm wide. Adding 2mm to the the braid.
1.5mm Square Outer Bands: In this set each band is approximately 1.5mm wide. Adding 3mm to the the braid.
2mm Square Outer Bands: In this set each band is approximately 2mm wide. Adding 4mm to the the braid.

In this set each band has 27 1.1mm diamonds and a total carat weight of 1/8 CT. Adding a total of 1/4twc to your ring. Each band is approximately 2mm wide. Adding 4mm to your braid.

This set has 17 1.7mm diamonds in each band and a total carat weight of 1/3 CT. Adding a total of 2/3twc to your ring. Each band is approximately 2.79mm wide. Adding 5.58 mm to your braid.
1/2ct Diamond Outer Bands (9.68mm):
This set has 17 2mm diamonds in each band and a total carat weight of 1/2 CT. Adding a total of 1twc to your ring. Each band is approximately 3.09mm wide. Adding 6.18mm to your braid.
